The finest young talent from the Frankston and Districts Junior Football League (FDJFL) is about to benefit greatly from the great partnership between the St Kilda Football Club and the league.
Squads for under 13’s, 14’s and 15’s for St Kilda’s Next Generation Academy (NGA) – South Hub Program – have been announced, providing a great opportunity for players from a wide cross-section of FDJFL clubs to develop their skills in an elite environment.
The program aims to develop the skills of players across the league in preparation for the 2020 AFL South East Interleague Carnival, where the FDJFL takes on the cream of the crop from the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League (MPJFL), South East Juniors (SEJ) and the Yarra Ranges Junior Football League (YRJFL).
Across the course of the program, players will be exposed to specialist skills coaching, high performance and off-field education aimed to develop professional standards of all players.
This year’s crop has shown to be highly talented with a great mixture of FDJFL clubs being represented highlighting the strong depth of talent in the region.
St Kilda FC is excited to further develop these players and provide the right framework so they continue along the junior talent pathway and into the Dandenong Stingrays program in the future.
