










AFL South East (AFLSE) is seeking a positive, enthusiastic individual to join the AFLSE Operations Team in the position of Regional Director of Umpires. The objective of the role is to manage the coaching, development, and delivery of umpiring in the South East Region. Through the implementation of systems and processes that deliver quality outcomes for umpires, this dynamic position will provide the framework for the development, recruitment and retention of a dynamic umpiring department

Applications for the AFLV Community Level 3 Coaching Accreditation Course are now open.
- Phase 1 of the course will be delivered over two sessions as a face-to-face workshop to be held in Melbourne.
- Phase 2 will be conducted virtually across three sessions.
- Phase 3 will be conducted as 5 x 1.5-hour monthly online Webinar sessions. Coaches will be divided into small Peer Learning Groups with opportunities to connect once a month between the formal learning sessions.



Female Football Advocate Program – Expression of Interest
As a part of our focus on supporting female football across the state, we are looking for expressions of interest for Female Football Advocates for the South East Region. The Female Football advocate program will deliver additional face to face club support to enhance female football focus within clubs, leagues, and regions. The program aims to:- Provide targeted support to clubs that have the opportunity to offer female football competitions and teams
- Provide Face to Face support through a female advocate approach to all clubs/leagues/regions.
- Assist in supporting club/league committees to maintain a female focus when making football decisions and supporting with resources/education and knowledge on all facets of female football
- Offer guidance on all establishing female football teams, competitions, and clubs across the state.
- Support all Participation programs with a female focus
- Identify Female Team opportunities in clubs
- Identify Female competitions opportunities in the regions
- Run Female programs in support of our Participation Team in all leagues within the region
- Identify potential female coaches in the Regions
- Support Club committees in having a female focus on participation
- Promote Female Committee members/appointments
- Run education programs to clubs on "Female Blueprint" for clubs
- Support the regions with female competition sponsorship opportunities as the advocate
- Promote Club Help + coach.afl for clubs in supporting female football participation
- Promote Female football in media opportunities for the region
- Share social media content and communications for female football in the region
- Identify clubs/leagues needing additional financial support to promote female football
