MPNFL Our Competition

The Mornington Peninusla Nepean Football League Inc (MPNFL) is a non-profit organisation aimed at managing and supporting local and regional football netball clubs. Governed and administered by AFL South East, the MPNFL is committed to providing a strong and healthy competition that maximises participation of men, women and juniors in Australian Rules Football and Netball, by;

> Building an attractive, viable and credible football and netball competition

> Attracting the most talented football and netballers

> Attracting talented sports administrators

> Expanding our competition to cater for different levels of playing standards


Length of Season – April to September


Our Clubs – 22 Clubs in two divisions of Football & Netball, Division 1 comprising of 10 clubs and Division 2 with 12 clubs.

Division 1: Bonbeach, Edithvale-Aspendale, Dromana, Frankston Bombers, Frankston YCW,  Mornington, Mount Eliza, Pines, Rosebud, Sorrento

Division 2:  Chelsea, Crib Point, Devon Meadows, Hastings, Karingal, Langwarrin, Pearcedale, Red Hill, Rye, Seaford, Somerville, Tyabb

Football                            Senior, Reserves and Under 19’s

Netball                             A, B, C, D & U17 Grade

The MPNFL plays an important role in the participation, promotion, development and pathways for aspiring future talented sports people to achieve their goals while continually focusing on building the competition as a family, fun and friendly place to attend and be seen as a leader in the community.
