There are exciting times on the horizon for the 2021 South East Juniors (SEJ) Development Program with applications now open for coaches willing to develop and grow some of the finest young football talent in the region.
The SEJ is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches to become key role models in the program, that will see SEJ squads compete against the best of the best from Frankston Districts, Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley Junior Football Leagues in the AFL South East Regional Championships.
SEJ is looking for Head and Assistant Coaches for the following age groups
These are voluntary positions that will provide exposure to elite level coaching that will enhance the knowledge of participants, keen to build on their experience gained at club level.
Training sessions will be conducted under the program coaching philosophies, with coaches keeping regular track of player development using the SEJ system provided.
Match-day coaching and the ability to communicate clearly with the key stakeholders in the program will be looked upon favourably.
Applicants require a bare minimum Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation, a Working With Children (WWC) check and a current driver’s license.
Applications close on Friday March 12.
