Some of the finest young talent from the Frankston and Districts Junior Football League (FDJFL) is about to benefit greatly from the great partnership between the St Kilda Football Club and the league.

St Kilda FC’s Next Generation Academy – South Hub September Program – is a continuation of the Under-14 Boys and Girls programs who trained across a 14-week training program in the lead up to the AFL South East Interleague Carnival.

There have also been a select number of players who have been included into this squad after showing strong form throughout their junior seasons.

Across this specific four-week program players will be exposed to specialist skills coaching, high performance and off-field education aimed to develop professional standards of all players.

At the end of the four-week training block, players will participate in an Under-14s Trials match on Monday, September 23 which will act as a selection platform for the Under-15 Boys and Girls Squads in 2020.

This year’s Under 14s crop has shown to be highly talented with a great mixture of FDJFL clubs being represented highlighting the strong depth of talent in the region.

St Kilda FC is excited to further develop these players and provide the right framework so they continue along the junior talent pathway and into the Dandenong Stingrays program in the future.
